My dog, Bernie, recently had a soft tissue injury while running. Since then, he has been trembling excessively and showing increased anxiety, even though he was prescribed doggie Xanax (alprazolam) and tramadol for pain. He was active and happy earlier, but now he refuses to get out of the tub. What could be causing this behavior, and what other treatments could help manage his pain and anxiety?

I gave my dog hydrogen peroxide around 5pm to induce vomiting because she ate a piece of gum with xylitol in it. I gave her the dose twice (as recommended by the vet) because she wasn’t throwing up after 10 minutes. She did throw up directly after the 2nd dose and I found the gum that she ate. She just now, 8 hrs later, just threw up 3 times. Could this still be from the hydrogen peroxide from earlier?
