My dog, Bluey, a 2-year-old Toy Poodle, suddenly started shaking, crying, and panting about an hour ago. I came home and found him like this. He was normal when he went outside earlier today, but now he's acting very anxious and trying to bite near his left side, close to his tail. He just tried to poop a little bit. What could be causing this behavior, and what should I do?

My dog, Timmy, a 14-year-old Schnauzer mix weighing 22 lbs, has been diagnosed with diabetes since July 2022 and has been on Vetsulin. Due to insulin resistance, our vet wants to switch him to Humulin NPH. I requested switching to Novalin insulin, but the vet prefers Humulin NPH. Is there any reason why Humulin NPH might be preferred over Novalin insulin, given that both are NPH insulins?
