My dog, Bolt, a chihuahua mix, has had a dry nose on one side for a couple of months. He is on daily Apoquel for skin allergies and is slightly overweight. He has tried to blow on the dry area to moisten it but hasn't been successful. What can be done to help his dry nose until I can take him to the vet?

My dog, Merlin, had surgery 2 days ago for a tooth extraction. He's eating normally but hasn't pooped, and his stomach is gurgling a lot. Could this be due to the anesthesia, pain meds, or the change to soft food? Should I be concerned if he doesn't poop for another day or so?
