My dog, Boomer, a 3-year-old weighing 70 lbs, got into a 2oz container of oil in the basement. Most of the oil is on the carpet, and he seems fine, but I'm unsure what to do next. He hasn't vomited since, and he's eating and drinking normally. There's about 0.5 ounces of oil still in the container, and I don't see any signs of oil around his mouth or smell it on him.

My 5-month-old poodle, Odis, knocked a pecan pie off the counter and ate about 1/4 of it. He has not vomited yet, and it happened about 5 minutes ago. What should I do?

A small dog (10-15 pounds) ate dead wasps from a wasp trap that may contain chemicals. The dog has shown no abnormal symptoms so far. Should I be concerned about the chemicals or stingers, and what should I watch for?

My 18-week-old basset hound has been vomiting and regurgitating since Saturday. It started with white mucus vomit and progressed to vomiting ground-up dog food. He also chewed on a sago palm piece I cut down. He's been going to puppy school and eating Royal Canin large breed puppy food. His poops are normal, and he's drinking water. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Cooper, a 16-month-old weighing about 60 lbs, has had loose stools with gas and bright red blood in some of it. He has been calmer than usual and has been lying around. I can't say if he has been more or less thirsty, and I'm unsure if he ate anything unusual recently. What should I do, and are there any emergency behaviors I should watch for?

My 5-year-old West Highland White Terrier (westy) is obsessed with light and barks at the light coming in from my windows. This behavior just started a few weeks ago. I give him trazadone and Zylkene. What can be done to help him calm down and stop this behavior?
