My dog, Bourbon, has hives all over his body. I gave him 4 Benadryl tablets (25mg each) about 4-5 hours ago, but there has been no change. He is isolating himself, sitting in weird places, and whining a lot. How long should I expect the hives to last, and what should I do if they don't improve?
