My dog, Bowser, a 12-year-old pit/lab mix, was hit by a car about four years ago, resulting in a permanent grimace, weakness, poor balance, and a limp from his right shoulder. X-rays show spinal compression between and just behind his shoulder blades. He has become anxious about stairs and getting in and out of the car. Massage helps, and I'm considering animal chiropractic adjustments. What might help improve his quality of life, and is chiropractic a viable option?
