My 4-year-old lab, Prince, has been experiencing diarrhea with blood since yesterday. He seems more thirsty than usual, and we are out of town with our family watching him. He is not lethargic, has had some water today, and is eating Fromm's Gold label food. He was diagnosed with heartworm disease about a year ago and is a rescue dog. What could be causing the diarrhea with blood, and what should we do?
