🐕  Dog Health

My dog, Buddy, has a collapsing trachea and can't stop coughing. He is 14 years old and not on any medications except Gold Lung. He has no history of heart disease but has a voracious appetite and is slowing down a bit, losing a little weight. The cough is a honking cough followed by a little gag but no phlegm. The vet has diagnosed him with collapsing trachea and prescribed meds that helped for a while. What can be done to manage his condition until his next vet appointment on March 5?
