His skin is also bumpy and itchy. Could this be related to his first visit to a groomer and bath in late November? What else could be causing this, and what further steps can be taken?

One of her eyes has been tearing excessively for quite some time, and she has developed some thick 'gunk' along the bottom and corner of her eye, which is clear or almost greyish.
