My dog, Charlie, a 9-year-old Mail-Shih, has been experiencing vomiting and loss of appetite since July 18. Despite multiple vet visits, rounds of antibiotics, and normal blood tests except for an elevated white blood cell count, Charlie is not improving. He is currently on an oral antibiotic twice a day, a daily antibiotic injection, and anti-nausea medication. He is being syringe-fed puréed food with vitamins and calorie supplements. What could be causing Charlie's symptoms and what further diagnostic steps should be considered?

My 9-month-old female German Shorthaired Pointer, Oreo, started heaving and vomiting white fluid this morning.
