My dog, Chelsea, age 9, is eating and drinking normally but is urinating frequently with blood in her urine. Do we need to take her to an emergency vet or is it okay to wait until Monday for the regular vet?

My Norfolk Terrier, Flynn, has been vomiting yellow bile for three days. He was better yesterday but vomited again today. He could have eaten something unusual. Should I go to an emergency vet or wait until tomorrow for his usual vet appointment? He is lethargic and has no interest in eating or drinking today.

Our 8-year-old male Golden Retriever woke up unable to lift his head, is walking slowly, and hasn't eaten since Friday. He's also been sleeping more than usual and was whining slightly this morning. What could be wrong and what should we do?

My dog, Jemma, who is 3 years old and weighs 14.3 pounds, licked inside my mouth after I had a mint containing xylitol in my mouth. The mint contained 0.5mg of xylitol and was about half-eaten. Has the dog thrown up since then, and is she in any danger?

My dog, Bella, a 5-year-old, was at a kennel during our vacation. Nine days later, she is wheezing, coughing, and vomiting phlegm and foam, but no food. Her energy and appetite are low, and she drinks water but eats very little. What could be causing this, and what should I do?

I gave my 12-pound puppy, Sophie, a 4-inch rawhide alternative chew stick that she swallowed after 15 minutes of chewing. She has not vomited since, her airways are not blocked, and she is not having trouble breathing. She hasn't eaten since but is drinking water. She has no other medical problems and is not on any medications. What should I do?
