My dog Chester, a pug born in January, has been suffering from terrible dry skin and has developed abrasions and cuts on his tail, which is also bleeding. He has been licking and biting his tail, paws, and thighs. Chester is not on any flea or tick preventatives, and I bathe him twice a week. My 10-year-old English Mastiff, Eli, experienced a large amount of thick blood coming from his penis when he rolled over while sleeping. This has happened before, but the previous incident involved only drips of blood and was diagnosed as a prostate infection or UTI, for which he was treated with medication. This time, the blood was significantly more, forming a puddle. He is not neutered and is currently not on any medication. What could be causing this and what should I do?
