My 5-year-old Chihuahua has been jumping up and yelping in pain, both while laying alone and on the couch. She has only eaten cooked chicken today, her belly is a little bloated and firm, and her bowels sound active. She allows me to palpate her legs and belly without pulling away. Her food was changed about 3-4 days ago, but she hasn’t been eating it well as she tends to be a picky eater. What could be causing her pain, and what should I do?

My 13-year-old dog, Hunter, has been pooping more frequently over the last 3 months, going from 2-3 times a day to 3-5 times a day. His poop looks normal, and he eats premium dry food (Wellness).
