My dog, Chloe, a 5-year-old chocolate lab, might be having a reaction to tea tree oil. She started having issues about an hour ago where her hind legs were giving out, but her gums are fine, and she's walking, eating, and drinking normally. What could be causing this, and what should I do?

My 2-year-old French bulldog, Ruby, suddenly started showing pain and limited walking. I took her to an emergency vet who did a full exam of her muscles and spine, found nothing, and did an X-ray that showed no blockage. They prescribed gabapentin. She gets up to do her business but then lays right down. She eats when food is brought to her, but she has trouble walking and seems to be in pain. What could be causing her pain and limited mobility?
