My dog, Danny, a 19-month-old weighing 17 pounds, ate part of a wax melt about 5 hours ago. He is acting fine and has not vomited, but he sometimes has issues with constipation. What should I do?

My chihuahua, August, appears to have dislocated his left hind leg. He is aggressive but seems tamer now. He is 8 years old, weighs about 4.6 lbs, and was neutered as a pup. He is not on any medications and did not bleed from the dislocation. What should I do for his pain and how can I find affordable veterinary care?

At what age do you recommend neutering a male Sheltie, and what can be done to manage his hyperactivity and prevent foot injuries?

My smaller 15lb dog, Nala, ate a chewable Advantus tablet meant for a 23-110lb dog about 5 minutes ago. She hasn't vomited yet and seems fine. What should I do?

A friend's dog was taken and she was charged with animal abuse. The dog recently lost all its hair. What could be causing the hair loss, and how can we determine if it's bacterial, fungal, or related to a skin parasite? Additionally, how can we prepare a strong defense for the court case on 11/1, considering the dog's health and potential impact on humans?

My four-year-old Beagle Claire was running around outside and suddenly yelped and is now limping on her right back leg. There is no visible sign of injury and nothing feels broken. She doesn’t seem to mind me touching it (hip, leg, or paw). I’m wondering if she just pulled a muscle and if there is anything over the counter I can give her? She was 41 lbs at her last weigh-in.
