My dog, Iggy, has a fever that fluctuated from 105 to 103.7, low white blood cell count, low platelets, and a good red blood cell count. She stopped eating and had diarrhea. What could be causing these symptoms and what steps should be taken for diagnosis and treatment?

Dr. Jan, Daisy pulled out one of her staples. My vet is closed until Monday. I put an old cone on her. Should I worry about it? I don't know how an emergency vet would put a new staple in with her awake. She is not a friendly dog. What should I do? Here is a picture. Thank you, Stacey.

My dog, Snoop, a two-year-old Maltese mix, has been dry heaving several times a day and sneezing a lot. He also started licking his front paw and scratching a few days ago. He has been eating and drinking normally, but I haven't taken his temperature. I adopted him on March 6th, and this has been a regular occurrence. He has a vet appointment on Friday, but I want to make sure I don't need to get him seen sooner.
