I have a 10-year-old Great Dane named Saint who started running a fever and vomiting. The fever is almost gone now, and he is eating chicken and rice and keeping it down. The vomit was white, partially slimy like mucus, and partially liquid, with no food initially. He hasn't vomited since around 1:00 a.m. this morning. Could this be a bacterial infection, and what should I do next?

My dog, Cash, a 70-year-old (in dog years) Pit Bull, is exhibiting repetitive head movements for long periods, sometimes over 24 hours. He starts by licking the floor, acts afraid, and won't stand unless prompted. He also seems to be going blind, and his urine is bright yellow with a strong odor. He has done this before and it stopped after giving him a 2mg Xanax. What can we do to help him now, and should we try giving him calming supplements like Prosense Calming Solutions?
