My dog, Doc, has blood in his urine. He was found on 12/21/19, is negative for heartworm, and has normal blood work. Today, he didn't eat well, snarled at another dog, and urinated fine but with blood at the end of the stream. Can I give him any pain medication tonight, or should I just wait it out until he can be seen by a veterinarian at 2 PM tomorrow? The dog's abdominal area is also tender.

My dachshund, Buster, ate an unknown amount of raw bacon. He is 7 years old, weighs about 12 pounds, and is currently quiet and laying in his bed. I have lost a dachshund to pancreatitis after a similar incident many years ago. What should I do to ensure Buster's safety and health?
