My dog, Duke, who is 11 years old, has been on Galliprant for arthritis for the last year. He is about to run out of his medication, and I need a refill. However, my vet wants to do annual bloodwork before prescribing more, which I can't afford at the moment. What can I do to manage his pain and get his medication without the bloodwork?

My dog isn’t acting like himself. When we try to pick him up he will yelp, he has a hard time laying down. He ate dinner just fine. He’s not being playful or moving the way he usually does. He hasn’t thrown up. He does have a problem with eating poop. I don’t know if it’s his own as well as our other dogs but I know he eats it. He’s a shihtzu poodle and he’s almost 3 years old. He’s acting very limp and it seems like he’s in pain. Do you know what it is or how I can help him? Or what to do?
