My dog, Ellie, a 2 1/2-year-old weighing 12 pounds, has been scratching intensely for about 3 weeks, causing scabs and skin damage. I suspect she has mange, but I can't afford to take her to a vet. What could be causing her symptoms, and is there anything I can do to help her at home?

My son slammed the door on my chihuahua, Milo, about a month and a half ago. Now, Milo is in pain on his back side, his eyes water, and his back side is tender to touch. He avoids laying on that side and his legs shake uncontrollably at night. Additionally, he threw up yesterday, but his stool is fine. There feels like there may be a space in his back leg when rubbed. What should I do?

My dog chewed up a remote this morning and I can’t find one of the batteries. The dog weighs 20 pounds, is a puppy, and is 4 months old. He has not thrown up since chewing the battery. What should I do to ensure he is okay if he ate the battery?
