My dog, Elliot, age 3, was hit on April 1 and had a metal plate inserted in his right hind leg on April 3. He was walking on the leg until yesterday when he stopped bearing weight on it and whimpered when the leg was touched or hit. There is no visible swelling, and he lets me touch the leg and foot.
