My dog, Evie, ate a small amount of chocolate-flavored ice cream yesterday night. She has had diarrhea and is straining to go potty, which causes her to cry. What can I do to make her comfortable and should I be concerned about the chocolate?

We have a 19-pound Havanese dog named Murphy, who is 13 years old. Today, he suddenly started acting like he cannot walk, sitting up but going in circles and not moving. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but he had a minor back issue in May. He's laying down, trying to sleep but not moving. His appetite and stools are unchanged, and he had a little sausage gravy this morning. What could be causing this sudden inability to walk, and what should we do?
