My dog, Franklin, had a neuter surgery 4 days ago. His scrotum is black, which was noticeable immediately after the surgery. He is not licking or chewing at the area, and he is not in pain. Everything else with him is normal—energy, eating, etc. Should I be concerned about the black scrotum, and what should I monitor for?

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Duke, who is 4 years old. He had an allergic reaction to ant bites, resulting in bumps and a rash. I've been giving him Benadryl 25 milligrams 2 to 3 times a day. His skin is hot, moist, and he scratches and bites at it all night. What can I do to help him, and should I take him to the vet?

My dog has been labored breathing since 3 am. The dog is a 13-year-old Schnauzer/Poodle mix named Lily. She has not been coughing and is not open-mouth breathing, but has been breathing heavily and occasionally gagging after jumping on or off the couch. The last vet visit was in April for her shots. What could be causing this labored breathing and what should I do?
