My dog, Goo, a 2 1/2-year-old Chihuahua weighing about 4 lbs, has been lethargic and unresponsive since this morning. Her head is moving back and forth, and she doesn't respond to her name. She ate her usual food last night and showed some signs of being scared, but this time she seems worse. Could she have eaten something unusual or toxic, and what should I do?

My dog had dental work this afternoon. She has been crying non-stop since I picked her up at 6:00 PM. She's been prescribed Rimadyl 75mg for pain, but the nurse said to give it to her tomorrow. Can I give her one-half the dose now to see if that helps?
