My dog got out and came back with wounds to his neck and chest. He won't eat, won't lay down, and his hind legs are sore. The wounds smell bad, and I suspect he might have fought with a buzzard. I have animal penicillin and wound cream, but I'm unsure of the dosage. How much should I give him, and what else should I do for his wounds?

My 14-year-old dog, Tiny Jose, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) and fluid in his lungs. He was prescribed enalapril, lasix, and vetmedin. He started coughing and had labored breathing. I'm worried about his condition and the effectiveness of the medications. When can I give him more lasix, and how can I tell if it's working? Additionally, I'm concerned about kidney failure and the correct dosage for a 3-pound Chihuahua. What should I do to help him?

My 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier female, Patchy, has been on metacam for about 2 years at the recommended dosage. Yesterday, she had bloody stool and vomiting. The vet's bloodwork showed liver enzymes at over 1000 and high kidney values. She also has pancreatitis. Will discontinuing the metacam bring the bloodwork values back to normal?
