He has shown some improvement with physical therapy, acupuncture, and laser therapy, but I'm concerned about whether he will regain full sensation and mobility in his legs. My 17-year-old dog had dementia and was experiencing severe health issues, including not eating, drinking, or producing urine. Despite multiple treatments and hospitalizations, she collapsed and was diagnosed with a poor prognosis. I regret not trying harder to save her and wonder if she could have been saved. Could her pacing and eventual collapse have been due to kidney failure or dehydration? Should I have taken her to the hospital sooner?

My Shih Tzu gets 'sore' and won't go to the bathroom after going to the groomer. He has been biting at his hind end and hasn't had a bowel movement in two days. I thought it might be due to having his anal glands cleaned, but even after asking the groomer not to do this, the issue persists. He just had a clean bill of health at the vet and is usually a happy dog, but this seems to happen every time he is groomed. Do you have any insights?

I have just adopted a 6-year-old dog named Max who isn't up to date on shots and got into a fight with a raccoon. Can I get her a rabies shot tomorrow, and will it work to prevent anything if the raccoon had rabies? Additionally, she is limping from a scratch and acting normal except for putting weight on the leg.
