My dog had bladder stones removed on Wednesday. After returning home, he seemed down and developed a bump next to his surgical cut. The vet said it was normal, but the bump spread, and he started breathing rapidly. He won't move out of his bed, cries when he needs water, and sometimes has blood in his urine. Could it be that his bladder ripped inside even if he is urinating fine, or could it be that the bump is part of his bladder hanging out of place?

My dog tested positive for Lyme disease, but she has been vaccinated twice against Lyme, and I was told the vaccine was very effective. Could the vaccine itself have caused a positive test result?

My French Brittany has been given a double dose of Phenobarbital for a total of 97.2mg. She weighs 32lbs and has been on this medication for 1.5 years. It was about 20 minutes ago. Would inducing vomiting with hydrogen peroxide 3% solution be helpful, and if not, what should I do to monitor her?

My 80-pound dog started having diarrhea this morning and threw up, but seems fine otherwise. He was found walking down the street and ate a piece of bread off the ground last Friday. What should I do?

If a dog ate something it shouldn't have, how long can diarrhea last, and what can be done to help it recover? The dog has been on a low residue diet since 2 months old and is now 2 years old. The diarrhea has been ongoing for about 2 days, and the dog is not currently taking any medications.

I have a dog who recently passed away. She had been to the vet for an anal gland abscess and was given medication. That night, she developed severe respiratory distress and passed away. Could the medication have caused her death, or was it likely due to an underlying condition like cancer or heart disease?
