Found a large baseball-sized lump on my chocolate lab, Tootsie, between her ear and jaw on her neck line. It appeared suddenly within the last 2-3 days and is very firm. She doesn't seem bothered by it and is still drinking water, though she hasn't eaten her regular food. Is this an emergency, and should I take her to the vet immediately, or can I wait until Monday?

My 7-year-old Great Pyrenees, Duke, has a history of ear infections. He has been aggressive at the vet's office and requires sedation for treatment. He is also resistant to anyone touching his ears since his last infection. What can be done to treat his current ear infection without causing distress to Duke?

My dog, Ranger, a 17-month-old Yorkie, has had diarrhea for a few days, which is now slowing down but he is very hungry. The bowel movements are lighter in color. I started him on prebiotics and probiotics. What should I do to help him recover?
