My dog has been on aspirin, amlodipine, and benazapril for three years. Recently, he had dark green stool and was taken to the emergency hospital where blood work showed normal results except for low platelets. Could the medication be the cause of the low platelet count?

My spayed, 18-month-old Newfoundland dog is currently on Atarax and Prednisone for allergies. She previously had a bout of urine leakage for which she was prescribed Phenylpropanolamine (PPA). Today, she leaked urine again. Can I give her the PPA without doubling up on the effects of the Atarax?

My Lhasa Apso is panting, shaking, and appears to be in pain. She cries when she walks, refuses to eat, and has been crying on me. This started a few hours ago. Can I give her anything? She is a healthy dog and had a check-up with her shots in November.
