My dog has been on cephalexin for three days for a wound and has started vomiting. She has thrown up her food and even boiled chicken and broth. She has not eaten anything but water since 10:00 AM and has vomited yellow bile. My vet advised no food for 24 hours and to see if the vomiting stops. How long should I wait before taking her to an emergency vet if the vomiting continues? She seems to have an appetite but I have not given her food.
