My dog has been sick since July 1st, starting with a urinary infection that cleared up, followed by months of fever that required multiple antibiotics. Now, despite no fever, he won't eat, is losing weight, and his gums are less pink. His calcium is high, phosphorus is low, and there are no signs of cancer. He was given Metoclopramide for his stomach, but it only helps for a day or two. What else can be done, and is he just going to die?

Our dog, a mutt less than 2 years old, had surgery to get fixed on Thursday and came home on Friday. She has been leashed exercised since then. Today, after eating dinner, she started acting weird, vomited her food, and was stretching her back legs as if something was bothering her. Her stitches seem fine, and she has only had dog food and a couple of treats since her surgery. What could be causing this behavior, and should we be concerned?

My German Shepherd, 1 year 4 months old, is having very runny stool, his stomach is making a lot of noises and he seems a bit unsettled. Is it urgent that I take him to the hospital now, or can I wait until tomorrow? He hasn't eaten his dinner tonight.

I have a 2 1/2-year-old female Havanese who stopped eating 17 days ago. She has been diagnosed with IBD and has been through multiple treatments including exploratory surgery, IV fluids, and various medications. Despite these efforts, she continues to lose weight, has diarrhea, and vomits. She is now very weak and refuses to eat. What should I do to help her?

I took my 14-year-old dog to the vet today and he was diagnosed with kidney failure and pancreatitis. They gave him fluids, pain meds, and an antibiotic, and suggested euthanasia. I brought him home to say goodbye, but he is now paralyzed. Yesterday he was active, and today he is paralyzed. Is this normal?
