My dog has elevated liver enzymes and excessive fluid in his belly. Ultrasounds of his heart and liver showed no abnormalities. Extensive blood work was all normal other than the liver enzymes. He is not in distress, other than his breathing sounds a bit wheezy at night when he is sleeping. He is eating well and has maintained his normal activity level. We've spent over $1,000 on tests and a round of antibiotics, but no further ahead in figuring out what is wrong with him. Do you have any ideas?

My dog threw up last night and has had bloody diarrhea today. She is also unable to keep water down and seems lethargic. Our other dogs have had mild diarrhea episodes recently. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 10 lb dog was dropped on her side and appears to be okay, with no bones sticking out and can walk, but is in pain. Can I give her any aspirin or motrin, and how much?

My dog has had hiccups for about 9 hours now. He gets these hiccup spells very sporadically, but nothing I do helps them stop for good. I've given him water, food, played with him, and we went for a walk, but nothing seems to make it go away. When he gets these kinds of hiccups, it usually lasts overnight, and by morning he's fine, but not this time. He's been hiccupping all night and morning. Help!
