My dog has had a scab on his ear tip for almost a year. I have cleaned it and applied an antibacterial/fungal ointment, but it keeps coming back. I suspect it might be vasculitis. What could be causing this and what treatment options are available?

My dog had fleas and I gave him Capstar, but he is still itching and very red near the tail end. He is losing hair as well. I put hydrocortisone 1% on the area. Is there anything else I can do?

My mini dachshund found a cooked bone outside and had a restless night of hacking and swallowing. She is still intermittently hacking and didn't eat her breakfast today.
