My dog has had skinny, mushy stools for about a month after starting a new food. She has to try numerous times before she gets anything out. She is currently taking Rimadyl and has no other symptoms such as vomiting, weight loss, lethargy, or disinterest in food. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

My adult lab chewed the top open on pool algaecide and made a small puncture hole in it. A little dribbled out and he must have ingested a small amount because he started throwing up. He couldn't have had much because the bottle still feels full. It is Algaecide 40. It is late and getting him to a vet would be hard. Is there anything we can do to help him, and do you think he will be okay?
