My dog has IBD and I recently changed his dog food to Science Diet I/D, which he normally loves. However, in the last two days, he has shown less interest in his morning meal. The weather has been very hot (around 85-90°F with high humidity), and he has been less active than usual. Is the heat affecting him, or should I take him to the vet?

My Morkie, Missy, has crusty buildup inside her ear. She doesn't smell, but the bottom of her ear lobe is more crusty. Our bigger dog licks her ear, and Missy scratches it a lot. We've been using candula oil for a couple of weeks, but the crustiness has returned. What can we do to help Missy?
