My dog has kidney failure and was prescribed Hills kidney care food along with liquid meds. She initially ate the dry food but now refuses to eat it or any other dog food, except for chicken and brown rice I cook for her. Can I mix the dry food with chicken and rice to encourage her to eat the kidney care food, or do you have any other recommendations?
