My dog has seasonal allergies and ear infections that usually resolve in winter but have continued this year. Symptoms include scratching, hair loss, shaking head, increased drinking, changes in eating habits, and decreased enthusiasm. I want to address the underlying cause rather than just treating the symptoms. What could be causing this and what steps should I take?

My 10-year-old miniature dachshund, Roscoe, has a hard belly and I feel rattling in his chest. When I pick him up, he acts like it hurts. I took him to the vet last week, and they did blood work which came back normal. They suggested his back might be hurting and gave him dexamethasone. It's been a week, and he's not improving. What could be causing this, and what should I do next?

My dog, Riley, a 9-year-old Golden Retriever, has a red and warm ear. She was previously doing well on Nutro Lamb dog food but recently switched to Petvalu Performatrin Ultra Lamb and Brown Rice, which contains barley and is not grain-free. Could the food switch be causing this issue, and what should I do to address it?

A 1-year-old Yorkie is experiencing hair loss, choking during play, and vomiting yellow foam up to 3 times a day. The vet diagnosed a stress-related condition, but the owner is unsure. What should be done to address these symptoms?

Our 4-month-old Bichon, Abby, possibly ate some grapes this morning. She weighs 8.8 pounds. If she did eat some, it wasn't much. I weighed 7 large grapes, and they came in at 1.36 ounces. Dark purple variety from Costco. I have read about the toxicity of grapes for dogs and still wonder if she'll be alright.
