My 20 lb schnauzer ate 30 tablets of Baytril 68 mg, threw up once, and had a 30-second seizure. Now, he's laying down and doesn't appear to be in acute distress. Should I take him to the emergency vet, which has a 3-hour wait and is expensive, or monitor him at home?

My 7-month-old, 40 lb puppy ate an insulin pin. It was a pretty full pin, but I don't know how much insulin she actually ingested. I gave her a glucose tablet and she drank a little (1/4 cup) of orange juice. What else can I do? She also ate 2 medium-size carrots and a small slice of bread. She seems fine and has not thrown up.
