My dog is itching to the point of bleeding, particularly under his right arm, which was shaved close during grooming. The area is very red and he continues to scratch with his back paw despite wearing a collar. What can be done to address this issue and prevent further scratching?

My dog has had diarrhea since last night, is eating and acting fine, but also threw up a bit of water in the morning. He usually gets GI upset occasionally, but this time the diarrhea is more frequent and mucousy, with some clear, watery stools. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him until I can see a vet?
