My dog is reluctant to lay down and will sit for a long period of time. When he does lay down, he is visibly uncomfortable and will tremble until he gets on one side. He is favoring his front left paw and appears to be swollen on his front left side. No vomiting, no diarrhea. He ate supper tonight with no problems. Once he gets on his right side, he is able to lay with his head on its side on the floor. What could be causing this and what should I do before the vet visit tomorrow?

My dog Peyton, who is 3 years and 4 months old and weighs 85lbs, accidentally received a double dose of 97.2 mg phenobarbital this morning. He seems a little sleepy but otherwise okay. Is it safe to give him his next dose now, or should I wait?

My Wheaten Terrier has been intermittently vomiting phlegm and mucus for about six weeks, despite being on Reglen, Mestinon, Prednisone, and a soft bland diet of mainly baby food. She eats and sleeps well, but the vomiting won't stop. Why is this happening?

My dog Haden has a sudden lump on his throat, one side bigger than the other, and a small bump behind his back knee. He hasn't been eating regular food but will eat treats or steak. What could these lumps be, and is it okay to wait until tomorrow to take him to the vet?

My Shepherd, Augusta, was bit by a tick. She has been more docile and tired for the past two days. The tick was found on the top of her front right leg, and she is sensitive to it and licking it. What should I do?
