A 2-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback in excellent health experiences intense itching on his snout, leading to the removal of whiskers and the formation of small open sores on his lips and the area surrounding his nose. The nose itself appears unaffected. Our veterinarian examined skin scrapings under a microscope and found no evidence of scabies or mites. Oral prednisone provided temporary relief but the problem returned 2 to 3 weeks later. What should be done next to address this problem?

My 7-month-old Beagle had blood drawn from her left hind leg for a heartworm test. She's been limping since then but shows no signs of pain, heat, or swelling. Could the repeated insertion and removal of the needle during the blood draw cause the limping?

My senior boxer (12) had a seizure and I was holding her up. Her right side was limp and she was hacking foamy spit. She was disoriented after the 30 second episode still unable to walk or stand straight for a couple minutes. She finally got on couch and was restless until falling asleep. Her heart rate is 150s. It seems tachy-Brady. It's 150s then 40s for about 10 seconds then back to 150s for a minute or two. She is sleeping on the couch. She has cushings disease and has lost to 46 lbs. she eats drinks and poops normally. I wondered if it was actually a seizure and not stroke. Her blood sugar is regular with never having issue.
