Our 12-year-old French bulldog, Louis, has started barking with a low repetitive grunting bark after being walked and fed at night in his heated kennel. This behavior began when a new home was built next door, and we suspect he feels his territory has been violated. He is not an inside dog and lives across the road from a busy park with many dog walkers he dislikes. He is overweight but otherwise healthy and fully vaccinated. Could this barking be due to indigestion or anxiety?
