My dog, Joey, a 11-year-old Shih Tzu, has not eaten for 4 days and has had diarrhea for 4.5 days. He seems more tired than usual but is not in pain. He was given a shot to stop vomiting and had blood work done, which came back okay. What can be done to get him to eat?

My dog, Letty, a 4-year-old pitbull blue heeler mix, has had a tiny bit of blood in her diarrhea twice, with her most recent stool being watery and greenish in color. She seems normal otherwise, but she recently ate canned dog food after running out of her usual refrigerated dog food. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My chihuahua/terrier mix, Alfie, is experiencing light brown watery diarrhea for at least two days. He's almost 2 years old, eats anything he finds, and this morning he's not interested in food but seems otherwise acting normally. He's had all vaccinations, is on heartworm preventive, and has not vomited. What should I do?

Hi. I have a 28 lb Beagle named Scout, who is 11 years old and has arthritis and a herniated disk in her neck. She normally gets carprofen 25 mg twice a day, but we are out, and our regular vet is closed. She had a very active playdate yesterday and is now having a bad day. What can I do to help her pain management until I can get her to a vet?
