My dog, Kali, is throwing up clear phlegm-like substance every time she gets up from laying down. She also threw up water and bits of cheese after trying to drink and eat. She has not vomited since being in the kennel, which has been about 5 minutes. She has no known unusual food intake, no medications, and no pre-existing medical conditions. Her diet is Pedigree for small dogs, and she drinks water normally. She has normal energy and a soft belly. What could be causing this and what should I do?

She recently started her first heat cycle, which involves swelling and milky-like fluids. Could this be related to her vomiting?
