Our Rat Terrier, Joe, ingested a wooden splinter from wooden blinds about 6 weeks ago. Since then, he has been experiencing chronic regurgitation and vomiting after meals, especially if excited. We visited a vet who took x-rays but couldn't see anything and didn't examine Joe's throat. The vet suggested an ultrasound, but we are unsure if this is the correct next step.
