My dog, Lilah, a 5-year-old, 12lb dog, has blood in her stool. She has no vomiting, is on Simparica once a month, and eats Primal freeze-dried dog food. She seems perfectly normal otherwise. What should I do?

My dog, Magnus, a 7-year-old Rottweiler, has severe diarrhea with blood since this morning and has also vomited. He is drinking water and still has an appetite. He hasn't eaten anything unusual and his diet hasn't changed. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him until I can get him to the vet on Friday?
