Hi. I just let out my three dogs and my morkie ate a cotton ball of some sort. There is a husky that lives nearby and they drop his hair and today was a cotton ball. Should I be nervous? My dog weighs about 16 pounds, is 11 years old, and the vet said she may have the beginnings of Cushing's.

My mixed breed dog, Jango, who is 12 years old and diabetic, has an abscess of a sebaceous cyst. He is currently on oral medications (carprofen 75mg every 12 hours and cefpodoxime 200mg every 24 hours) and topical treatment with silvadene. Jango is eating well, drinking water, and going outside, but has lower energy than usual. Are there other treatment options besides surgery with anesthesia?
