My dog, Lucy, a 1-year-old 11lb dog, has been having loose stools for the second day. Her stool was normal this morning, but after eating half a cup of her standard dog food and drinking water, she had two more loose poops. There has been no vomiting, no recent diet changes, and she hasn't gotten into anything unusual. The stool is lighter, runny, and has a smell like diarrhea. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

The most likely issue is colitis, which can be caused by something Lucy licked, chewed, or swallowed...

Our dog consumed about 0.5 oz of a facial beauty product. Iām concerned about the toxicity of the ingredients. My 2-year-old dog, Arielle, who weighs 53 lbs, accidentally received 600 mg of gabapentin, which is my Golden Retriever's dose. Arielle had TPLO surgery a week ago and normally takes gabapentin, trazedone, and carprofen twice a day. My Golden Retriever takes one gabapentin, apoquel, and Zyrtec once a day. I think Arielle got her medication mixed with my Golden's. What should I do?
