My 6-year-old 8-pound Chihuahua mix, Mimi, has been lethargic since yesterday afternoon. She had one diarrhea and one normal poo yesterday evening, tried to throw up in the middle of the night but only a little bit of spit came out, and has not eaten or drunk much since then. She has not pooped or peed yet this morning. What could be wrong with her, and should I be concerned about her possibly ingesting something?

My daughter-in-law rescued a dog that appears to be part Pitt and part Rottweiler. The dog is very thin, has been left outside without proper care, and now experiences explosive diarrhea and vomiting when it eats. What can be done to help the dog recover?

My dog's butt is very irritated and red, and she won't stop licking it. Can I put a Preparation H suppository in her to ease her pain, or what else can I do to ease the pain?
