🐕  Dog Health

My dog, Mac, has been coughing a lot for about a day, trying to cough up something but only bringing up saliva. He makes a strange noise when he tries to bark and it lasts for 10 minutes before stopping for a while. His breathing seems normal, and he's eating and drinking as usual, but he hasn't eaten tonight. What could be causing this and what should I do until I can get him to the vet?

My dog, Milo, age 10, has been experiencing heavy panting, itching, swollen eyes, restlessness, and vomiting after receiving a dose of antibiotics (Cephalexin 500mg, Ketoconazole 200mg, and Robenacoxib 40mg) for a pre-existing yeast and fungal infection. He vomited food and liquid, but there was no evidence of eating anything unusual. Recent blood tests confirm an infection, and an ultrasound shows an enlarged liver with irregularities. The vet stopped the medication and suggested consulting a cancer specialist for potential surgery. I'm seeking a second opinion on whether this could be a reaction to the medication or if there's another underlying issue, and what steps can be taken to alleviate his symptoms.
